自2019年開始，我們面對著各種無法預料的挑戰，累積了很多失望沮喪的情緒。計劃被打亂、擱置，過去所想像的未來或者都不能實現。但當初的計劃、行動不正是源自對更美好未來的期盼嗎？這份存在於你腦海的想像是別人最無法奪走的。因此越疲憊無力時，越要想像。
「自主特區──未來像」將會選映6部想像未來的影像作品，或遠或近。藉窺探作品所建構的未來，容我們再一同想像：未來又會如何？
Since 2019, unprecedented and exceptional challenges have been driving us to devastating disappointment and anger. Our actions, driven by a once imagined bright future, no longer constitute our original plan. With our lives disrupted and hopes refuted, our imagination, which belongs entirely to our intimate selves, can never be taken away. The more tired we get, the greater urge to imagine.
Independently Yours – Future Pictures presents six short films picturing the future near and far. Bask in these peculiar future worlds and imagine! What does the future hold for us?
